An award was presented to Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus at the “Reaction Excellence Awards 2018”

An award for its contribution to strengthening the young people and the society was presented to Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus at the “REACTION Excellence Awards 2018”. The ceremony took place on Thursday 25th of January at the Presidential Palace, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, the Minister of Education, Mr Costas Kadis, the Minister of Justice, Mr Ionas Nicolaou, the Minister of Health, Mr George Pamporidis and the Minister of Transport, Mr Marios Demetriades.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to public bodies, organisations, banks, embassies and companies for their social action, while the President of the Republic was rewarded for his support to the actions of the NGO.

Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus was represented by Mr George Gregoras, Managing Director, who received the award, Mr Andreas Stratis, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager and Mr Panayiotis Evangelides, Communications and Public Relations Representative.

The “Reaction Excellence Awards” are organised by the Non-Governmental Organisation, REACTION Youth for the Prevention. The Organisation was founded in 2011 and consists of a Road Safety Unit, a Public Health & Safety Unit, a Department of Environmental Studies and a Youth Programs Unit. The President of the REACTION, Mr Marios Stavrou praised the social contribution of the laureates and their actions for a better Cyprus.
