EKO Cyprus rewarded excellence at TEPAK and announced internship positions at Vasiliko!
During a special ceremony held on Wednesday, 22 July at TEPAK, the Cyprus University of Technology, EKO Cyprus rewarded the effort of two students who excelled in their performance during the past academic year, without of course failing to applaud and congratulate all students.
Once again, EKO proved its continued commitment to supporting excellence and perseverance – values inextricably linked to its vision and corporate culture. Mr. Pavlos Stephanides, the company’s Senior Commercial Director, attended the award ceremony and presented -on behalf of EKO Cyprus- two cash prizes: one to Kyproula Georgiou, the "First of the First" of the current academic year, and the other to Amalia Ioannou, whose dissertation received the highest score.
In this joyful atmosphere, EKO Cyprus announced its intention to offer internships to a certain number of TEPAK students in the state-of-the-art facilities of its terminal in Vasiliko. The positions are intended for students of the Department of Chemical Engineering over the current summer period.
EKO Cyprus’ CEO, Mr. George Gregoras, said in a statement, "For EKO Cyprus, every effort to acquire knowledge and cultivate skills is commendable, which is why we have always supported younger generations by offering them real incentives. Learning -and especially lifelong learning- helps build strong and confident personalities, so we rejoice every time we reward excellence as well as every time we see our young people believe in their dreams! On this occasion, EKO officially announces that it will accept a certain number of students from TEPAK’s Department of Chemical Engineering for an internship during the summer period. We are looking forward to welcoming them at Vasiliko for them to experience first-hand the state-of-the-art facilities of the EKO terminal and to talk to our team of experts!"
