EKO Cyprus’ Strong Support for Domestic Violence Survivors and SPAVO’s Vital Work
Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, and for one more time, a people-first approach, EKO Cyprus proudly announces its collaboration with the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO). This partnership encompasses a series of initiatives designed not only to support and empower SPAVO in its vital work but also to promote the social and professional reintegration of domestic violence victims.
The initiative of EKO Cyprus includes three (3) key action pillars:
- Providing equipment for the shelter in Larnaca: EKO Cyprus will offer logistical support to enhance the living conditions of women and children residing at SPAVO’s shelter.
- Scholarships for professional training: Through a partnership with Cyprus College, EKO Cyprus will provide educational opportunities in fields such as aesthetics, secretarial studies, and online marketing.
- Employment opportunities: EKO Cyprus is creating job openings at its service stations, offering individuals supported by SPAVO the chance to achieve financial independence.
EKO Cyprus has, over a long period of time, shown dedication in its efforts to improve the quality of life for the people of Cyprus, with a particular focus on supporting vulnerable groups. In this context, the company has partnered with SPAVO, an organization recognized for its remarkable work in preventing and addressing domestic violence. SPAVO provides crucial support to individuals, empowering them to transform their lives by accessing all available resources. Through its multifaceted work, the Association offers immediate assistance to both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, while also ensuring the shelter and protection of those affected.
